Founding & Senior Pastor
Philip Bonano is the founding & Senior pastor of New Season Christian Center. He was born and raised in the Bronx as a Pentecostal pastor's kid learning and developing his call to ministry under his Dad, Bishop Hector Bonano. New Season is thankful for the Spiritual covering of Bishop Hector and Rev. Rebecca Bonano. Pastor Phil studied at Queens College Aaron Copeland School of music with a major in jazz piano and his heart for worship birthed the ministry Worship The Hero. Comprised of New Season's worship team & friends, Worship The Hero aims to reach the hearts of people through music. Pastor Phil also studied at Nyack College in the field of Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Communications and Leadership Diversity. He loves pouring in to leaders and building God's church in the city. Pastor Phil launched New Season in 2004 and has since seen the faithfulness of God as he ministers and shares God's love with all who connect with New Season. Under his leadership, New Season provides Sunday Services, Men's, Women's and Youth Ministry, Theological Education, Community Outreach and most recently a weekly gathering in Downtown New Rochelle, NY. Minister April Picon
Church Operations
Minister April Co-Leads alongside Pastor Phil and oversees all operations of New Season Church. She is a teaching/preaching Minister and helps oversee all of the amazing leaders of New Season. In addition to her work at New Season, April works for The City Seminary of NY as the Grants Manager for their Ministry In The City Hub. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fordham University and completed the Ministry Fellows Program at City Seminary. Deacons
Annette Dames, Stacy Paris, Milagros Torres
The Deacons of our church oversee all Spiritual matters and care of the congregation. They preside over the communion sacraments, teach on Baptism, and serve through prayer every Sunday service.
