Rev. Philip Bonano
Philip Bonano is the founding & Senior pastor of New Season Christian Center. He was born and raised in the Bronx as a Pentecostal pastor's kid. Phil studied at Queens College Aaron Copeland School of music and Nyack College in the field of Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Communications and Leadership Diversity. He launched New Season in 2004. In addition to his pastoral ministry of 16 years, Phil is the founder and chairman to the board of New Season Outreach (Thrive South Bronx); a non-profit organization that has been serving the community in the nation's poorest congressional district. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Leadership Network , an organization aimed at equipping and pouring into Leaders. Founded in 2018, Legacy is Pastor Phil's passion as he moves in to his second decade Pastoring a church and recognizing the need for support, training and spiritual formation for Leaders. He is honored to Pastor the New Season family and continuously strives to impact the local church and beyond with God's guidance.
The Executive Team at New Season consists of Deacon Henry Pena, Deacon David Melendez and April Picon. They lead New Season alongside the Senior Pastor in day-to-day ministry and the Spiritual care of the congregation. For information on:
