Meet
Rev. Philip Bonano
Senior/Founding Pastor
Rev. Philip Bonano serves as the Senior/Founding Pastor of New Season: A Missionary Church of Christ. With a heart for people and a passion for God’s Word, he founded New Season in 2004 and has led the ministry faithfully.
In addition to his work as Senior Pastor of New Season, Rev. Bonano also serves as an Elder in the Spanish congregation, Missionary Church of Christ. He leads this second congregation alongside the Bishop. He is also the Co-Executive Director of the Fabiana Preschool offering free Universal 3K and 4K to children in our community under the NYC Department of Education. Rev. Bonano also serves as a Teaching Director for the Urban Church Leadership Center, an institution built to equip and raise up the next generation of Pastors in our city.

Reverend Bonano is also a proud Husband and Father to 4 beautiful children and lives with his family in the Bronx.
Meet
Rev. April Bonano
Co-Pastor
Rev. April Bonano serves as the Co-Pastor of New Season, assisting her husband. She helps lead the church with compassion, faith, and a heart to see people strengthened in their walk with God.
Her ministry reflects a deep love for people and a desire for New Seasoners to be a Spiritual family. She loves pouring into the women of the church, she loves singing, sharing God's word, and her first ministry - being a Mom.

In addition to her work at New Season, April serves with the Ministry in the City HUB, a national network of Pastors and ministry practitioners in cities doing God's work. April is a student at the City Seminary of New York in their Master's Degree program for urban ministry.

Annette & Milagros
Deacons
Deacons Annette Dames and Milagros Torres faithfully serve New Season by providing spiritual care to our congregation, assisting in the administration of the sacraments, and offering wisdom, support, and counsel to our pastoral leadership. Both are graduates of the Ministry Fellows Program at City Seminary of New York and bring many years of ministry experience to their calling. Together with our pastors, they serve as part of the church’s team of Elders, helping to shepherd, nurture, and strengthen the New Season community.
